Welcome to the Temple Emanuel 2011 Auction. We will be starting the Auction on May 14 and hope you will join in the fun. We have many wonderful and exciting items we will be putting up in the next couple weeks. This is our only fund raiser during the year and we hope your bids are generous. Keep your eyes open. We are sure there are items you would will love to have. Listed below are the auction rules: please read them so that you will know how the auction will work.

Lisa is happy to offer an hour of storytelling to this year’s TEMV Auction. Auction Rules
Temple Emanuel is selling auction items via an electronic mail based auction. The auction is administered by the fundraising committee. The following are the rules of the auction - please note that if there is a situation not covered by the rules, the fundraising committee will be the arbiter and will make the final decision.
Bidding
Bids may be submitted by electronic mail and, at the discretion of the committee, by phone. The highest bid before the auction's closing time is the winner. Time will be determined by the time that the email was received by the sender's ISP as recorded in the email header, or the phone call is received according to the person or answering machine taking the call. To allow for time delays in email processing, a final winner will not be announced for 12 hours after the auction close. Any email received after 12 hours will not count in determining the winner of the auction, the previous high bidder will be notified by email or phone within 24 hours of the bid. Bidders who do not receive email should assume that they are not the highest bidder.There is a limit of 1 year from the date of the sale on goods or services offered in the auction which are not specifically stated otherwise or already covered by agreement or statute.

Phone bids can be placed to 978-475-8473 between the hours of 8 AM and 10 PM.
Payment
Payment on completion of the auction is due within 10 days. Please pay promptly. Payments may be made by mailing a check or using Pay Pal.
Make checks payable to Temple Emanuel, and send to AUCTION, Temple Emanuel, 101 W Forest St, Lowell, MA 01851.
Pay Pal payments can be sent to PayPal@temv.org or you can use the Donate button on the home page of this site. All auction payments must state "Auction Payment" and must specify the item(s) the payment is for.
The fundraising committee reserves the right to refuse bids if the bidding party has previously defaulted on payment.
The committee would greatly appreciate any donations to the auctions.
