Adult Study

Temple Emanuel believes that Jewish education doesn’t end after Hebrew school, and we are dedicated to fulfilling the needs of adults who wish to learn and explore Judaism. Our adult study opportunities include weekly adult beginner and intermediate Hebrew classes, as well as six-week sessions on various topics, led by the Rabbi. Some past sessions have been “How Do Jews Pray?”, “A Rabbi Looks at Christian Origins,” and other topics including Torah portions, poetry, and the development of the service liturgy.

We are also involved with the Reform Jewish community at large, and regularly participate in and host events sponsored by the URJ and the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation.
